2026 CFMOTO 150 AURA

Production started year: 2026
Segment: Scooter

A few days ago, CFMOTO unveiled the new 150 AURA, its newest retro-inspired addition to its scooter lineup. It was unveiled in the Philippines, at the U.P. Town Center Amphitheater, where the public not only saw the scooter but also rode it and experienced it firsthand.

At first glance, the scooter looks like it came from the 1960s, but underneath, and even on the outside, everything is as modern as it gets, featuring some elements that are rarely seen in 150cc scooters.

Starting with safety, the scooter’s lightweight design, low seat height, and agile handling make it easy for smaller or beginner riders, while dual-channel ABS and traction control, which is rare in this case, offer added safety and confidence.

Going further, the retro-looking scooter features a smart keyless ignition system with seat and side stand sensors for a smooth start in a matter of seconds. Also, for more fuel efficiency, an Idling Stop System (ISS) turns off the engine at a red light.

Storage-wise, the scooter features a storage compartment under the seat, which can accommodate two helmets and a luggage hook. Tech-wise, it features USB-A and USB-C charging ports, a 6.2-inch TFT screen with two themes, dash cams, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Also, the scooter can get unlocked through four methods: Bluetooth, app, NFC, and Screen PWD.

In the mechanical department, the scooter is suspended on a traditional telescopic fork at the front, while the rear end is controlled by two shock absorbers, offering a comfortable riding experience.

The round things that make it glide with ease are 12-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, which are equipped with brake components, such as a 220 mm disc at the front, clamped by a two-piston caliper, and a 190 mm disc at the rear, squeezed by a single-piston caliper.

As for performance, the 2026 CFMOTO 150 AURA is equipped with a 149cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine fed by a fuel injection system. It is rated at 16 hp at 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm (11 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm. A CVT transmission and a dry, centrifugal clutch redirect the engine’s power to the rear wheel.

The 2026 model is available in Ivory White, Velocity Gray, Royal Blue, and Vintage White.
