500SR debuts at CFMOTO Day 2026
500SR launched at the 2026 CFMOTO DAY

Back in October 2024, CFMOTO Philippines pulled the covers off the neo-classic 500SR VOOM, alongside the 675SR-R, and even surprised everyone with the unannounced Philippine debut of the 800MT-X.
Marking its 6th CFMOTO Day, the brand put one of its newest models front and center with the debut of the 500SR. It carries an SRP of CNY 28,980, or roughly USD 4,192.
What’s new
The new 500SR ditches the neo‑retro vibes for a sleek, full-on sportbike look, echoing its bigger sibling, the 675SR‑R. Under the skin, it’s got the same 499cc engine and chassis as the VOOM, but 2 kg lighter at 192 kg, and those who were able to test it during the CFMOTO Day say it rockets off the line with noticeably sharper acceleration.
One of the standout features of the new 500SR is its tech. The CFMOTO Ride App now comes standard, letting riders manage calls, navigation, and music with ease through its 6.2-inch TFT display. Thanks to CFMOTO’s collaboration with Insta360, the app can also control your Insta360 camera while on the move, so every ride can be captured in real time (at least, that’s what we gathered during the presentation in Chinese, with a little help from Google Translate).
Other standout features include an all-LED lighting, twin front discs, single rear disc, steering damper, aluminum swingarm, slipper clutch, ABS with cornering and Supermoto modes, traction control, quickshifter, and a 15.5‑liter fuel tank.
Philippines, when?
CFMOTO Philippines kept it straight to the point and said that the new 500SR is headed for the upcoming Makina Moto Expo this April.
As for pricing, CFMOTO Philippines boss, Boy Lu, hinted it will undercut the leading 500cc bike in its class. Our estimate? Could be below PHP 400,000, putting a true inline-4 500cc sportbike well within reach for many Pinoy riders.
